TRAVEL INFORMATION

How to get to Raja Ampat

Your final destination is Wasai Harbour where you’ll meet the boat.

We recommend flight arrival and departure in Sorong - though there are flights to Waisai (where the boat lives) but flights only have 10kg allowance and the Ferry from Sorong (1,5h) is easy. Ferry leaves daily from Sorong and Waisai 9am and 2pm.

Arrival in Wasai

Ideally Arrival can be early morning 1st November in Sorong so you can catch either the morning ferry at 9am or ferry or  flight at around 2 pm to Waisai.

Departure from Wasai

On the way back 11th November, ideally either 9am ferry or 2pm flight or ferry also. If you can catch a flight out of Sorong for late afternoon on 11th Nov - that would be least stressful and you would avoid nights in a hotel in Sorong (it’s not a place to linger!!).
